Bowstring knot
Bondage that uses flat rope can open up the opportunity for a whole new style of play. But you still need to know how to tie some kind of cuff. This knot works wonderfully in flat rope and is ment for use when the direction of pull is at right angles with the limb.
Make an overhand knot. Be sure the line enters up from underneath and exits through the top. Lip or rotate the knot untill it is positioned corectly.
Pass the working part around the limb. We will now pass the line through the knot.
Match up where the line is already entering the knot. Bring the working end into the knot under this spot.
As the working end exits the knot, make sure it stays under the line already exiting.
Tighten by pulling at right angles to the limb. The dedicated bondage geek may think at this point that the working end will need to be finished off somehow. This is an optical illusion. The knot will hold just fine without anything else being done to the working end.
