They remembered the best part

Just a fast entry today as Im about to leave for shibaricon …..

Over the past couple of years I have traveled to lots of conventions. And earlier this month when I went to tribal fire I noticed something new in the Pittsburgh Airport concourse that got me thinking.

Usually stores in the airport concourse are all ‘last minute’ kind of shops. Selling little nick knacks of things you forgot to pack or decide at the last minute you need. Well, now the airmall has a Victoria’s Secret store.

When I first saw this I thought to myself “Who would by sexy lingerie while on a trip?” The second thing I thought was “Are that actually so many people that do want to by lingerie on a trip that this store can stay afloat?”

But then I thought about it and the answer came to me. Internet dating. Two people meet online and one flies out to see the other. In this context, last minute shopping at Victoria’s Secret sorta makes sense.
