Bye buy credit cards
Well, KinkyRopes just lost its credit card processing account.
Yeah, yeah. I know what your thinking. ‘damn those evil right wing Christians’. Well, hate to break your illusion, but we were using a non US bank. Sorry, but you cant blame the right wing political party of the united states for this one.
But they are still oppressing sexuality? Right? I mean we live in a puritanical society that is against anything and everything having to do with sex. Me must be? We have to be? Arnt we?
Wrong again. It was actual a product liability issue. If someone is tied up using my ropes, and there is a fire, then it could be argued that my product prevented them from escaping in time. There is also the issue of health injury from ropeburn, accidental strangulation, nerve compression, loss of circulation. And on and on. My merchant services decided upon review that they didnt want to be held finically libel for any accidents resulting in the use of my product.
But I know truth dosent matter. I can hear the rumormill grinding even as I type this. People are just going to naturaly assume that the reason I lost credit card services was because my bank was a bunch of uptight prudes with a backward view of sex. Truth dosent matter at all.
