Well its obvious what happened? Right? Some right wing neocon religious zealot who hates everything that isnt missionary position was offended by his lifestyle. they want to opress anything that dosent fit into their narow defenition of proper sex and are theirfore opressing this guys freedom to live his BDSM lifestyle as he chooses. Right?

Feminism has long been an enemy of kink. They claim it degrades women. Sadomasicism is targeted under the theory that it promotes rape. Porn is targeted under the theory that it reduces women to objects. Prostution is targeted under the theory that it exploits poor helpless women with no other choice. Blah blah blah. Its fimilar stuff.
Fimilar, yet strangly ignored. the kink comunity out to be shiting its pants over a guy getting sued for sexual harasement for practicing a kink lifestyle. But yet again, kinksters see that the enemy is from the political left, assume that the only posible political enemy of kink MUST to be from the right, and dismisses the whole issue.

Why is the kink community not defending him? My theory from the tiny sample of this one article is that he sounds like he has a bad case of male chauvinist sleaze. He isn’t being sued for harassment because of an ‘innocent’ collar. He is being sued for harassment because of allegations of bonafide sexual harassment. His personal kink is just window dressing for the media to sensationalize.

Secundo: As you have admitted to the fact that this is the only article you have read about this case. So perhaps you have commented on the case before watching how this story had unfolded- Of course tuckner has been defended by most in different websites and blogs as we have seen. In this case there is no bonafide sexual harassment as you are alleging. On the contrary looks like he has become a victim of the same right-wing puritans and/or of the simplistic reactionary feminists. People can easily talk of their straight lifestyles and exhibit their signs of love towards their spouses at workplace in our society, but come anything remotely related to alternative lifestyle, and the media jump at moralist conclusions even before the case hits the court..
IMO- Just cuz he is being portrayed on media as the evil guy doesn’t mean he is not a good person.

There is something deeply ironic about a post blaming ’same right-wing puritans’ as a response to an entry about how kinksters knee-jerk reactions are always to blame right wing puritans.
